The Home and Garden Show
March 5-9, 11am-4pm
Visit the Lost in the Forrest booth at the Minneapolis Home and Garden Show! We will offer a variety of products to boost your houseplant toolkit, along with classes for plant parents of all experience levels!
Plant Care 101: This class is perfect if you want to learn what it takes to care for a houseplant, or for deepening your understanding of the plants you already own! The class costs $35, and includes a pot and plant to bring home.
Pot Painting Class: Plants deserve a pot just as special as they are - so let's make one! In this class we provide the tools and guidance for you to unleash your creativity and produce a unique, hand-painted pot to bring into your home! The cost is $30 per person. No prior art experience required 🙂
Gesneriad Care Class
March 29th, 12pm
We are happy to welcome the Gesneriads Society to Lost in the Forrest! Come and learn all about this wonderful family of plants.
What is a gesneriad exactly? The African Violet is actually a member! Whether you are new to growing these plants, or want to expand your current knowledge, you won’t want to miss the expertise that our speaker has to offer! Cost is $10 per person.
Plant Care 101: Back to Basics
April 5th, 12pm | $35 per person
Ready to bring your plant-parenting skills to the next level? Or just need a refresh on the basics? In this class, we'll cover choosing the right plants for your space, understanding water and light requirements, and more! After a hands-on repotting session, everyone will be given a new plant and pot to bring home and love! Also enjoy a 10% discount to be used in-store that day only.

Fern Mounting Workshop
April 26th at 1pm | $30 per person
Mounting a staghorn fern to a wooden plank is a classic way to display this gorgeous plant, and acts as a living piece of art for your home! This class will provide you with hands-on experience with the tools, materials, and process involved in mounting and caring for a staghorn fern. Besides leaving the class with your newly mounted plant, class participants will receive 10% in-store shopping that day only.
Taylor & Co Candle Making Class
April 26th at 1pm | $37 per person
Taylor & Co Boutique is a small, woman owned business that specializes in natural self-care products.
In this class, they will be teaching the process of making candles with mindfully selected ingredients. At the end of the class, you will take home your new candle, and be empowered to care for yourself in small ways, everyday!
Taylor & Co will also have other self-care products available at their popup sale in the LITF store!
Lush Bath Bomb Pressing Class and Popup
May 3rd at 12pm | $36 per person
Get ready to make a splash with your very own, hand-crafted bath bomb! In this class, hosted by Lush, each participant will be pressing 1 bath bomb, 1 bubble bar, and leave with a face mask freebie. A fun class on your own or in groups!
Lush will also have their products available at their popup sale in LITF!
Floral Bouquet Bar
May 10th
Put together a fresh arrangement with the help of staff at LITF! Who doesn't want the chance to play with buckets of gorgeous blooms and fresh greens? No experience is necessary, and you will leave with a unique arrangement to brighten your day!

LITF Spring Plant Swap
May 17th starting at 12pm
Come join LITF for our Spring Plant Swap! This is a great opportunity to meet with like minded plant parents, refresh your collection, and spark new inspiration for your next bucket list items! Bring plants, props, and pots to trade. You never know what you’ll find!
Check in is at 12pm, where additional instructions will be given. No registration necessary.
Pet Adoption Day
May 31st at 12pm
Both plant parents and fur babies are welcome at LITF to support the Carver Scott Humane Society as they showcase pets up for adoption!
Whether you come to give a little love (and a couple belly rubs) or you are looking for your purr-fect companion, come shop and enjoy our special guests for the day!
Kokedama Workshop
June 14th at 12pm | $30 per person
Kokedama is the Japanese art of growing plants in a moss-covered ball of soil wrapped with string.
Come to our workshop to make your own to bring home! All supplies are included, and you will receive tips and tricks to care for your work of art once you bring it home.
