Plant Care 101: Back to Basics

Ready to bring your plant-parenting skills to the next level? Or just need a refresh on the basics? In this class, we'll cover choosing the right plants for your space, understanding water and light requirements, and more! After a hands-on repotting session, everyone will be given a new plant and pot to bring home and love! Also enjoy a 10% discount to be used in-store that day only.

Valentine's Day Date Night at LITF!

Experience an unforgettable evening of romance and nature at Lost in the Forrest. This exclusive after-hours date night includes drinks, appetizers, a private dinner nestled among the plants, and a sweet dessert finale. With limited seating for 15 couples, it’s an intimate night you won’t want to miss!
Community Mural Painting
February 8th and 22nd
Help make our vision come true! Lost in the Forrest is proud to be partnering with the community to create a mural that will be displayed at the Home and Garden Show.
During the month of February, we are welcoming members of the community to our store to paint a small canvas. Each canvas painted will be used in the creation of the mural.
As a thank you, you will also receive a ticket to the Home and Garden Show, where the final result will be revealed!

The Home and Garden Show
March 5-9, 11am-4pm
Visit the Lost in the Forrest booth at the Minneapolis Home and Garden Show! We will offer a variety of products to boost your houseplant toolkit, along with classes for plant parents of all experience levels!
Plant Care 101: This class is perfect if you want to learn what it takes to care for a houseplant, or for deepening your understanding of the plants you already own! The class costs $35, and includes a pot and plant to bring home.
Pot Painting Class: Plants deserve a pot just as special as they are - so let's make one! In this class we provide the tools and guidance for you to unleash your creativity and produce a unique, hand-painted pot to bring into your home! The cost is $30 per person. No prior art experience required 🙂
Gesneriad Care Class

We are happy to welcome the Gesneriads Society to Lost in the Forrest! Come and learn all about this wonderful family of plants.
What is a gesneriad exactly? The African Violet is actually a member! Whether you are new to growing these plants, or want to expand your current knowledge, you won’t want to miss the expertise that our speaker has to offer! Cost is $10 per person.
