2025 Minneapolis Home and Garden Show

The Minneapolis Home and Garden Show is back, running from March 5-9, 2025, at the Minneapolis Convention Center! Featuring hundreds of businesses, this event promises an inspiring and engaging experience for all. This year, Lost in the Forrest is thrilled to play a major role, bringing the wonders of houseplants and creativity to life through interactive displays, classes, and a collaborative community project.

Highlights of Our Presence at the Show

Community Mural: “Get Lost!”

We’re partnering with local artist Emma Withers to create a one-of-a-kind community mural. Titled “Get Lost,” this masterpiece will be made up of over 1,000 individually painted canvases contributed by our community... by YOU. You can:

Paint a Canvas in February: Stop by Lost in the Forrest during business hours to paint your piece.
Join Community Painting Days: Attend our events on February 8 and 22 to meet the mural team and contribute to this collaborative artwork.

Everyone who comes to paint a canvas in February will receive a FREE Home and Garden Show ticket to see the completed mural, which will be displayed at the Home and Garden Show’s main entrance, welcoming visitors with its vibrant creativity.

Daily Classes & Events

We’re hosting fun, hands-on workshops every day of the show! From Houseplant 101 to Pot Painting, there’s something for everyone. Reserve your spot in advance! Every workshop ticket includes admission to the Home and Garden Show for the day.

Houseplant 101: Learn the basics of houseplant care and take home a new plant friend.
Pot Painting: Create a personalized ceramic pot and leave with a small plant to complete your masterpiece.

The Living Wall & “Candy Store” Display

Come discover our stunning Living Wall, a lush vertical garden featuring a brand-new design for 2025. This year’s wall is designed to inspire attendees while helping them learn which plants would thrive in their homes. We will debuting a fresh design that not only captivates visually but also serves as an educational tool. Our experts will be on-site to guide you in selecting the perfect plants for your lifestyle. Don’t miss our interactive “Candy Store” display, featuring unique plant varieties to browse and explore.

A Look Back: Our 2024 Home and Garden Show Debut

Last year marked our first-ever appearance at the Minneapolis Home and Garden Show, and it was an unforgettable week! With gratitude, we took home the Larry Hickman Rookie of the Year Award for Best First-Year Booth. The centerpiece of our display was the construction and installation of two stunning 20' by 10' plant walls, showcasing over 1,000 plants. One wall dazzled visitors with rare and valuable collector plants worth an impressive $20,000, while the other offered a diverse selection of houseplants to inspire attendees and help them envision which plants might thrive in their own homes. It was a joy to share this extraordinary display with our community.

We also distributed 10,000 postcards to eager plant enthusiasts, spreading the word about our mission to bring greenery into everyone’s lives. The buzz didn’t stop there—we were even featured on local news channels like KSTP Twin Cities Live and Garden Guy Dale K’s segment, bringing our vision to a broader audience.
